The DLI Leadership Institute is a four-month, hybrid leadership development course designed for attorneys and staff in legal environments, including law firms and legal departments. The content focuses on practical, learnable, leadership and management skills applied in a law firm/department context. The course consists of:
- Online learning modules on more than 20 practical leadership topics
- Eight live cohort meetings via Zoom
- Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI II) Personality Assessment, with live cohort debrief
- Change Style Indicator Assessment, with live cohort debrief
- Three 50 minute coaching calls to assist participants in applying leadership concepts
- Each participant will complete a personal leadership plan at the end of the course

Course Expectations
Participants are expected to commit to two hours per week, on average. Participants are expected to attend eight cohort meetings via zoom (recorded for those who can’t make the meetings). Participants will develop a personal leadership plan at the conclusion of the course.
Coaching
Tuition includes three, 50-minute coaching calls over the duration of the course to support the participant in achieving her/his leadership goals.

Value & Paying it Forward
The training, cohort meetings, two assessments and three coaching sessions are valued at $4,150.00 USD.

Meet the Facilitator: Mark Beese
Mark Beese is President of Leadership for Lawyers, a consultancy focused on helping lawyers and other professionals become stronger leaders. He provides training, coaching and consulting in the areas of leadership development, innovation, and business development. He serves law firms, legal departments, law schools, legal networks and industry associations on a global basis.

Mark is an adjunct faculty at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and former adjunct faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership.
