Giving and Receiving Feedback

When I coach lawyer leaders one-on-one, I’ve found that many people struggle with giving effective feedback. Being able to give frequent, specific and developmental feedback is not only a major responsibility of leaders, but it can also be a “killer app” for developing high performing teams. In this video, we look at the SBI (Situation-Behavior-Impact) model of giving feedback, and some tips on effectively receiving feedback:
